The autologous stem cell transplant in children aims at improving the cure rate for the children with cancer and especially those diagnosed with neuroblastoma and some types of lymphoma like Hodgkin Lymphoma.

BASMA played a major role in the opening of the stem cell transplant center in The Children University Hospital, especially with regards to the Autologous stem cell transplant.

In 2023, 3 children underwent an autologous stem cell transplant ( 2 from the children hospital and one for Basma unit).

This program cost till end of 2023: 147,206,900 SYP.
